In a world where a common goal is to get ahead easy, I enjoy finding alternatives to work. I appreciate and am gratified by hard work. That could entail paddling deep into a cut at 3am to throw out my duck spread before a hunt. It could include the breeze working against me while I run that 13th mile. This website and these drawings are a result of my fasciation and the pleasure I get from hard work. I could stream a new series; I could have AI design something for me to decorate my house or scroll endlessly on social media. Instead, when I had extra time, I picked up some pencils, and started drawing, to create, to express, and to represent the elegance I have witnessed through many years of hunting in Louisiana. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made in the five years I’ve been drawing, and excited to keep creating and keep working.
